I left home at 6am in order to arrive at Flatford Mill by 7am and be in place for sunrise at 7.50am. It was the promise of a heavy frost that enticed me to leave so early and I was not disappointed. Neither were the other 10 photographers who had had the same idea as me. The river Stour provided some excellent reflections of the trees until some ducks decided to start splashing during their morning ablutions.
